Bikefest
|
The City of Roseville holds an annual bicycle safety event for families. The event includes fun obstacle courses, helmet fittings (free helmets to those with damaged or ill-fitting helmets)
bike inspections, and riding demonstrations.
Children typically do not have an ID card with them. The Kiwanis Club of Roseville provides KHID (Kids Have ID) information stickers that are placed inside the bicycle helmets so the child may be identified in case of an accident.

Child Safety Seat Stickers

The stickers contain information for primary and secondary contact information in case of an accident. Stickers include critical health information and blood type for the child. Approx. 1,000 stickers are distributed community wide every year to other organizations including Buckle Up Baby and Safe Kids.

Kiwanis 1 Day
|
Each year Kiwanis International selects a day for this annual community service work day. We find a community project that needs lots of work done, the recipient provides the materials and we perform the work. This event is performed with our club members, Key Club members, and Builders Club members. It's a fun and interative day spent with our sponsored youth groups.
